If the odor persists after a day or so, wash the mat with Simple Green or another neutral PH cleaner and water, then dry thoroughly. pillow. It's as thick as my mouse pad from work. This is a mouse pad. I'm not sure why someone suggested that more surface area = thicker. "It's blurry" - mine arrived as pictured. If not, request an exchange. Prints may appear washed out as they are printed on synthetic fibers where lower resolution prints look better than high resolution prints. You are purchasing a mouse pad with an image printed on it. If that's not enough, use the artwork as a mouse pad and tell me how it works for you. "Mine came folded, now it won't lay flat" - Request an exchange.
