We have two toms that love to wrestle. And they seem to like to bite each other on the collar all the time.These collars themselves are sturdy and durable. The break-away buckle holds well.However, there is a bell on the collar attached by a split-ring made of soft/pliable wire. The cats will tug at this until it comes off. They do this to each other - not their own. If you just remove the wire and re-attach them with a zip tie or something a bit more sturdy, it solves the problem. Granted, if you want the bell to break-away in the event that it gets stuck on something, then the split ring is fine.
