Review on MEE audio M6 Sweatproof Sports Earbuds with Memory Wire - Clear, Wired In-Ear by Russ Conrad

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Still my favorite headphones after 6+ years

I've tried so many headphones over the years in the $10-$50 price range and I always come back to the MEE M6 returned. . This has been my favorite for about 6 years and no other headphones have been able to take the crown. I bought the $50 M6 PRO earbuds on sale to try them out and found that these regular Sport-Fi M6s last longer and are less prone to damage. I mainly use it for commuting and walking, not for exercise. Despite being marketed as 'sport' headphones, I wouldn't recommend them for working out unless you sweat profusely. PROS: The sound is the most balanced of any MEE headphones in this price range and I find the bass to be as good as the M9. The over-ear cables are easy to shape and adjust to your ear in about a week. The earbuds can be easily pulled out for a moment to talk to someone or place an order at the counter without the cords falling off or getting tangled; they sit well in the ear. It comes with multiple ear tips and I had no complaints even after wearing them for over 5 hours straight. The biggest plus of the M6 is the high sound quality and comfort compared to the price. CONS: Not very sweat resistant. I wear a pair in less than a year if I wear them to regular workouts because I sweat a lot. They're also not ideal for heavy sweating, as the overhead cable acts as a duct for sweat to flow straight into the ear, creating a very uncomfortable feeling and disrupting the sound.
