Tabs on the back for removing the back panel is such a headache. I recommend using something to lift them, don't use your fingers. I've only bent them once and they look like they're about to break. When frames are hung in portrait orientation, they don't lie flat against the wall. I couldn't figure it out for a long time until I realized that the stand on the back was pushing them away from the wall, causing the pictures to come off the wall on one side and look very crooked. Unfortunately I couldn't remove them without breaking them. They're fairly cheap for picture frames, though, so you get what you pay for. It was just very disappointing. In general they look beautiful.
