Nothing cleans like horsehair. I have a 50 year old horsehair brush that my dad gave me and it works great. I needed a second one for a different spot and this hamlet brush worked fine. This is a good sized brush that I use for rubbing between layers of clear polyurethane on trim and furniture. After applying the first coat of polyethylene I dry with 600 paper and then use a horsehair brush to remove most of the dust and then use a vacuum for final dust removal. This Weiler brush cleans well with an air compressor or soap and water or both. You could spend LOTS more money on a similar brush, but I doubt you'll get better maintenance or dust removal at any price. Hope that helps!
