ALWAYS ON Halogen Bulbs

I have a 6 light chandelier in my kitchen that has not had a bulb change in the 2 years since the chandelier was installed. I bought these tubes about a year and a half ago because they were the cheapest I've seen at Revain. ERROR. I've changed every bulb at least twice and I'm having a hard time getting to those bulbs, which makes it exponentially more frustrating. I hate avoiding those lightbulbs at all costs. The extra star might be the reason they aren't bulbs and there might be something they aren't ideal for this setup. But until proven otherwise, they suck.
