Disappointing in quality

I know the brand and its typically high quality. I was willing to pay more for my 2 year old's comfort as I believe good shoes are important at any age. He has worn these shoes occasionally for a week at most and the black on the toe is peeling off. I would expect that from a $10 shoe at a discount store, not Keen.
