Works right out of the box
Took a broken laptop and removed the monitor panel. I got the model number and found this controller board. I turned the panel into a homemade external monitor for my laptop to extend my desktop experience. It worked great. My cost is the board and some materials for a total of $45 versus over $100 for a new and good quality external monitor made for the purpose.
