Don't pay attention to bad reviews!

This is the perfect mount. I have a 2009 Honda CR-V. You will never guess that this is not OEM. In the past I've only used Scoshe. (Always on Chevy cars and trucks. This mount has the same quality and features that I'm used to. I read another person's review that was very helpful, so I'll do this for you: 1-Remove simply the original bracket from your radio.2- You MUST remove the 4 dash clips from the old bracket.Do this carefully with a flat tool.I would recommend a regular chopstick or other wide blade alongside a screwdriver so you don't damage the clips .There was a metal nail file it worked great clips they are all the same so they are just stacked to the side you don't have to go back into the same slots this allows you to see which screw holes match up 3a- for this part you will need no frame to put on.(Thin front pad. It turns on when the radio is in the dash and is independent of the posit ion. 3b- It was helpful for me to mark the bracket (side or rear) when installing it on the radio. L and R. I have a silver marker. Y You could, I would use a white dot or tape.. whatever. I'm not stupid, but you'll turn the radio back and forth while you work on this. It's not difficult to put it on backwards. There is a slight difference, so the brackets must be properly aligned. - Once you know how everything fits together, install the dash clips onto the new bracket and slide the radio back in. will not be in place for you to make sure the frame is installed and straightened. 5- Go back to the car and snap the wiring to the radio and car. Carefully slide the entire unit into the dashboard and snap it in place. Install (3) dashboard on magnetic screws. 5-a. It is important to ensure that any wiring behind the radio is COMPLETELY out of the way. The radio should go in perfectly, not move out even a little. (Luckily my Honda has plenty of room. When it sticks out the frame isn't quite flush. Hence some of the bad "doesn't fit" reviews back in place. If I remember correctly you have to assemble it top to bottom bottom or it won't snap properly. Yours may be different. I made sure the corners were snug and ran my finger along the sides to make sure they were flush. After a little adjustment it was perfect. The color is a perfect match for my car "Not military plastic, numb or anything. It's not "thin" like others describe. Think about it! You put everything together, put it in the dash and never touch it again." The plastic doesn't bend or move. How thick is it in millimeters? I was pleased that the color and finish (not shiny and not too flat) was as good as it is (the shiny part on the photo is there s radio itself, NOT new bracket) Action An excellent replacement set.
