The instructions on the can and here on the product page emphasize that you must wash your hands thoroughly before use. This is the key. I washed my hands a few times to make sure there was no oil or dirt left on my hands. Once I did that I had no issues with the cleaner sticking to my hands. I see others here complaining that it sticks to their hands. I think the key here is compulsive hand washing. Then I turned to the keyboard. I've had my keyboard for 3 years and have never washed it. The hardest part was crawling under my desk so I could turn it off. You definitely want your keyboard disabled or your computer turned off before cleaning. For the most part I used tapping motions. I pressed (not too hard) the slime onto part of the keyboard and then pulled it up. I would also move it back and forth between keys. Dirt and debris appeared quickly. The only time I've had an issue with the cleaner sticking to the keyboard and leaving a bit of grime was when I let it sit for a while. Eventually I got distracted by something and let it sit on the keyboard for about a minute. When I pulled it out, there were a lot of sticky spots. I just ran my finger over that area and immediately there were sticky spots. I'm typing on a keyboard I just cleaned. I don't feel the rest. No oily or slimy feeling. It's just a nice clean keyboard.
