Review on ASUS GeForce Graphics ROG STRIX GTX1080TI 11G GAMING Renewed by Wiktor Fokt ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Everything about the purchase suits me, a very necessary product.

Easily fit into Silverstone raven rv-02bw case. Through msi_afterberner, I reprogrammed the fan rotations based on the temperature of the card. At 100% load on the card for 8 hours of warming up, the temperature of the card was kept at no more than 61 degrees. The fan speed is 50%, the noise level of the video card does not stand out against the background of my system. Tactilely, the back plate of the card got warmer, so I put the card in the second pci-e x16 slot so that the processor cooler would not absorb hot air from the card. At 100% FB load, the whole system (amd ryzen 1600 3.8 Ggz, ddr4 G. Skill TridentZ 2x8 gb 3000, Msi Gaming pro Carbon x370, os Win10 Home 64bit, M.2 NMVe 240gb Corsair MP500, 1+2 TB Seagate Constelation , 850w Corsair 80+ silver) without overclocking the video card consumes 330-340W. There is no desire to overclock the card beyond the required temperature by 70 degrees at 100% load. I bought the card not in the 2022, at the time of purchase it cost 40% cheaper than in 2022 retail at an average price. Now the price tag has fallen, you can not bother and take from us ^^. I think that by the end of the year the 1080ti will have no competitors.

Pros
  • Excellent performance in FHD. Really thick heatsink with 6 heat pipes (looks impressive). Three quiet and efficient 90mm fans. A good margin for overclocking after the factory one. RGB backlight
Cons
  • Due to the three fans, the length of the card has increased significantly. It occupies a little more than 2 expansion slots in thickness. "By eye", the back-plate heats up noticeably stronger than the front side.
