Before "Tikhon" was the owner of the GTX 970 from Asus. Therefore, the dimensions of this video card did not become something unexpected for me. Yes, it is rather big, but few people try to cram such solutions into miniature cases. According to this VC: The mechanism of the cooling system is somewhat confusing. Up to a certain temperature threshold (it seems 55 degrees), the fans remain motionless, after exceeding this threshold they start, but, strangely, not all of them. They start to run…

Pros
  • - Cool cooling system - Backlight (which can be turned off if it hurts the eye) - Silence
Cons
  • - During the use (about a week) is not detected

Return my money! Disgusting product and poor quality.

The farm is not mine (I participated in the assembly), 4 strixes were purchased, of which two failed in the cooling system. In terms of build quality and performance, Gigabayte is way ahead. Initially, he was on the side of Asus, but in the end the Eagles won.

Pros
  • Soft, very handy overclocking utility The ability to connect case fans to the video card, which is optimal for cooling.
Cons
  • Complete slag in terms of build quality (even Poseidon is no better). Noisy cooling system Within two weeks, two fans failed on different cards, one just got up and the other was torn to shreds. The price is too high, it should be like Palit's, not higher, with such jambs.

Easily fit into Silverstone raven rv-02bw case. Through msi_afterberner, I reprogrammed the fan rotations based on the temperature of the card. At 100% load on the card for 8 hours of warming up, the temperature of the card was kept at no more than 61 degrees. The fan speed is 50%, the noise level of the video card does not stand out against the background of my system. Tactilely, the back plate of the card got warmer, so I put the card in the second pci-e x16 slot so that the processor cooler…

Pros
  • Excellent performance in FHD. Really thick heatsink with 6 heat pipes (looks impressive). Three quiet and efficient 90mm fans. A good margin for overclocking after the factory one. RGB backlight
Cons
  • Due to the three fans, the length of the card has increased significantly. It occupies a little more than 2 expansion slots in thickness. "By eye", the back-plate heats up noticeably stronger than the front side.

A great option for this money, I definitely recommend it!

Highly recommended for IPS gaming monitors Attached is a photo of my build. Pros
  • Unmatched card. Bought for Game MONITOR ViewSonic 27 XG2703-GS IPS Very good in games. Battle 1 - FPS from 100 to 144, on high. Kingdom Come Deliverance - FPS under 100 Cold! Quiet. The most powerful card. Before that, there was MSI PCI-E GTX 1080 GAMING, heaven and earth. This card is just a titan in the world of video cards.
Cons
  • No.

Best thing for the money, glad I did it.

Powerful animal, good cooling, excellent design and lighting. You need a large, airy and roomy case, with space for a video card from 30 cm, if there is one, then everything is fine. On FullHD (1980x1080) it pulls all games on ultra settings with a bang. On WQHD (2560x1440) everything is just as good, but, for example, in Crysis 3, in scenes on the street, where there is a lot of vegetation, at all ultra settings, friezes begin to be small (up to 20-30 fps), well, these are trifles.

Pros
  • - ASUS AURA. The backlight is gorgeous, glows in unison with the HERO IX motherboard - A very powerful thing! - Overclocking options - Good software included - Doesn't get very hot - Quiet
Cons
  • - The backlight works together with the motherboard, hell knows how, here, I think, the AURA software cant, because the video card itself has no problems with setting the light, the lighting is applied perfectly to it, but the joint settings (AURA SYNC) work badly and not always. - Large, you need a large and ventilated case, so this is more likely not a problem, but a nuance when buying.

Beautiful appearance, aura led backlighting, including the republic of gamers icon on the backplate, powerful video, drags everything you can in fullhd, boosts up to 2022+ MHz in games, even just in game mode, not OC. The cooler stop mode is convenient to use quietly and comfortably, although I don’t use it, two connectors for connecting additional coolers and linking them to the temperature regime of the video card. In short COOL! DON'T REGRET! BOUGHT ON DR. in November 2022 on the photo…

Pros
  • Excellent and very powerful card
Cons
  • If only the heat transfer is high

The card is excellent, high quality, a good option for those who want to buy an overclocked 1080 ti. Above 70 degrees, it did not warm up in my old case with 1 120mm fan for blowing at 99-100% load. When the software sets the fan speed to 50%, it will never reach 70 degrees. This means that it has a large margin of temperature and you can try to overclock the card even more! The price for monthly electricity consumption has increased from 800r. up to 1400r. (almost 2 times). I wrote about the…

Pros
  • Stylish card, different lighting, convenient software, speed, quiet (if the card is without a jamb like mine).
Cons
  • Bought a card abroad. A couple of weeks after the purchase, I began to notice that under load an unpleasant sound appears from the card, which either is or is not. I sinned on turntables, but after testing the turntables at different speeds, I realized that they are quite quiet. It turns out that the chokes on the vidyuhi make noise. Having studied the Internet, I realized that this is a massive problem that is present on video cards from different manufacturers, regardless of the model. There are 2 solutions on the Internet how to get rid of the problem. 1. Solder the chokes. 2. Fill these chokes with epoxy. I myself am afraid to do this at home :) Such an experiment can be expensive. All service centers that are listed on the ASUS website say that they do not deal with this problem. An independent service center called the replacement price from 4,500 and this is not the final price, which saddened me a little.

Think twice before you buy-the product is disgusting.

Although I helped put the farm together, it is not my responsibility. Out of the four Strixs that were purchased, two experienced problems with the cooling system. Gigabayte is far superior in terms of both construction and performance. He had supported Asus at first, but now he cheers for the Eagles.

Pros
  • A gentle, very useful overclocking tool The video card can be cooled optimally by connecting to case fans.
Cons
  • The construction quality is terrible; even Poseidon is better. A noisy air conditioner One fan got up and kept going after failing on a different card within the same time frame, while the other was completely destroyed. The price is excessive; with such jambs, it ought to be more like Palit's, not lower.

I am delighted, the product is really worthy.

In general, I’m not a fan of more than one company, especially asus, they often have , but here the card is normal with a huge supply of cooling due to huge revolutions, but this does not mean that they should hammer a hundred square meters 24 by 7! All the best and be smarter as pc bequeathed life Has some pros: 3 simple heavy-duty coolers, the chip cooling is the best among A brands. Beautiful, stable, I didn’t have any problems, no one else is friends with the head in more detail in the…

The best price for such a product, I will buy more!

Has pros: When rendered in 2K resolution, everything runs smoothly and at a rate that is reliably greater than 60 frames per second everywhere. To view content in 4K resolution, you will need a second card of the same kind. Price, price, and price once more, but this time it's more of an issue about the curriculum.

It has some flaws but the product is usable.

Gifted to me on December 26, 2022, I returned the item to the store the next day. The hum is what made the video card unusable. The throttles were making a whistling sound, but I only have a rumbling sound. When the workload is above typical, the problem becomes obvious. My system unit is soundproof, and I've tested it in both simulations and games, but it hasn't solved the issue. It's unacceptable that, after shelling out $64,000, I should be confined to an enclosed environment while playing.

Pros
  • The ability to overclock and perform at high levels
Cons
  • Rumbling, hissing, and whistling. reviewed as being like

I am delighted, the product is really worthy.

Gorgeous design with Aura LED backlighting and Republic of Gamers logo on the backplate; potent video; drags everything you throw at it in full HD; overclocks to 2022+ MHz in games; standard mode. There are two connectors for attaching additional coolers and coupling them to the temperature regime of the video card, and the cooler stop mode is silent and comfortable to use (although I don't use it). In a word: COOL! REGRET NOT! What more can I add than "LEVEL" on the photo box of anything I…

Pros
  • Superb and potent playing card
Cons
  • Assuming simply a high rate of heat transfer

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Matches the description completely, very satisfied.

SLI of two cards turn the computer into a bonfire :) Such heat comes from there. Blowing does not go back, but rather to the side. Therefore, in the air on the side for two cards, good blowing must be equipped. After 20-30 minutes of playing 4K in Shadow Warrior 2 without flashing, the blown-out left side of the CoolerMaster HAF X literally glows. It is impossible to hold a hand near the blowing grate and touch it - it burns :) The parquet around the computer really heats up very noticeably…

Pros
  • Beautiful, powerful card. Illumination of glowing coals in the theme.
Cons
  • One is not enough for 4K.

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Total disappointment, the product is terrible.

Even before buying the card, I twice came across reports on the Internet that the fan blades fell off on their own . I didn’t believe it . I thought the boy stuck a playful finger into the fan, and now Yaroslavna is arranging crying . pouring slop, on the most worthy firm . in vain, the boy was to blame. For five months I could not get enough of the card, but the other day, having dismantled the system unit for the next maintenance, I found a broken blade at the bottom of the case. I must say…

Pros
  • The card has solid advantages if it weren’t for one huge minus .
Cons
  • Fan blades are falling off like needles from a Christmas tree by the first of May!

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It works, but I don't think I'll be buying it again.

I bought it on December 26, 2022 (a gift under the Christmas tree), but on December 28 I took it back to the store. The reason for the refusal of the video card is the hum. I heard the throttles whistle - but I don’t have a whistle, but a rumble. It manifests itself when the load is above average. I checked it in tests and in games, my system unit is soundproof, but even it did not help with this problem. Being indoors while playing is not comfortable and after a while it starts to annoy…

Pros
  • Potential for both overclocking and performance
Cons
  • Noise, crackling, whistling. Described in a review

In general, I am satisfied with the purchase, the card is really cold and quiet, which you can see on the screenshots. The boost always hangs in the region of 2022 +/- 50, which is not a bad result and at the same time keeps the temperature at 50 degrees at 50% of the rpm, and this is just an excellent result! Otherwise, everything is like all 1080ti, namely the maximum settings and comfortable gaming, but for the ultimate gaming in 4k one card will not be enough)) Z. Y. I myself am not a…

Pros
  • Decent and efficient cooling Accordingly cold Whistling fakes in the form of adjustable backlight and additional connectors, etc. Very honest sensors Micron memory, but you won't find another one in 1080ti))
Cons
  • Price but what can you do? The edge in the feeder area, a little, sags if you look closely Plastic backplate (I was very surprised) The backlight in white mode is not quite white, there is a purple tint

The temperature under 100% load (The Witcher 3 at 4K) does not rise above 72 degrees, but even at this temperature, the coolers are not audible at all, even the tower cooler on the CPU howls much louder under load. The test results that are on the network are generally true. My system is i7-7700K (all cores running at 4.5GHz), 32GB DDR4 2400MHz (XMP profile enabled), MP - ASUS Z170 Deluxe. The Witcher 3, resolution 3840x2160, the quality is outrageous, Hair Works is turned on to the maximum…

Pros
  • - Good overclocking potential. - Sophisticated and quiet cooling system. - RGB backlight adjustment and general design. Multiple backlight settings and can be synchronized with ASUS MP backlight. - Good software included.
Cons
  • - Dimensions. It occupies 2.5 slots, not every motherboard will allow you to place an SLI pair of such giants, if anyone needs it. - The power of even such a video card is not sufficient today for a comfortable game in 4K without compromise at a frame rate of 60+. Yes, you can play in 4K, but with some restrictions on quality settings. The second card in SLI will not solve the problem, according to the tests, the performance gain at 4K resolution is extremely negligible. Someone points out "cost" in the shortcomings of top-end iron, in my opinion, it is top-end, in order to cost accordingly, and good does not happen cheap. If the cost hits the pocket, then this is a disadvantage of your income level, not the device.
