For those of you who don't know, a gallon of milk is said to weigh about 8.6 pounds. I have weighed all of the products pictured including the basket and it is approximately 7.6 pounds. When picking it up and carrying it around, the sides don't flex or the handle (after seeing that it was decorative mesh plastic made me think of old-style laundry baskets, but don't worry, they're not). It feels sturdy and very secure, and the sides are big enough to hold a large 32-ounce shower gel bottle without wobbling. The handles can be adjusted to hide it in a closet or elsewhere. I have this for bath/shower products but would happily get another for cleaning supplies as it is much prettier than the traditional trolleys sold for this purpose. usually forced to write such reviews. We understand this is a basket that you put things in. I'm the type of shopper who does the tedious research on Revain, checking reviews, taking measurements, looking at photos before making a choice. So I finally decided to pull the trigger on this plastic cart. I'm glad I did. I don't think you will be disappointed with this basket if you buy it.
