When I first received the razor it was beautifully finished and a nice weight. It has given me a really good close shave. It was easy to clean and I didn't have to worry about hair residue on the blades that is usually found at the store. However I thought it would last me for many more years but a few months ago it started to get badly damaged, photos attached. It also became very difficult to open and replace the blade. I haven't had constant contact with water but the humidity in the bathroom probably damaged it and now it doesn't seem safe. I'm writing this review now because I'm looking for a new safety razor right now, I just really want this to be a long term investment so I'm very disappointed. definitely something I would consider, it helps prevent ingrown hairs but there is definitely a learning curve. Don't push down on the safety razor too hard as its weight will do most of the work! Find more tips from others before using one! I would just look for one that lasts longer if I didn't get a faulty razor.
