I don't usually take the time to write reviews, although I certainly take advantage of those that do (legitimate detailed reviews). Unfortunately I feel like users like me need a review detailing issues like mine with this product. As a chemical/perfume sensitive person, this pet odor eliminator was far more nauseous than the cat spray/urine odors themselves. It was so devastatingly strong that even the next day, when I was a good 40 feet from the room I was staying in sprayed the day before, opened my bedroom, the smell hit me like a tidal wave and wouldn't go away. It literally gave me nausea and a headache. Luckily we will be out of town for about 3 weeks and I just hope the smell will be gone by then! I'm not entirely sure if it was able to get rid of cat smells or overload my senses with more scents as I believe I could still smell the cat smells coming through the awful smell of the perfume. A small note, not nearly as important in my review, is that like Fort Knox it was shrink wrapped and sealed with duct tape which was very difficult to open but still leaked badly in transit. To be fair this might have more to do with the elevation change on delivery as we're in the Colorado mountains and it's not uncommon for liquids to leak. With all that said, I unfortunately have to resort to the outrageously expensive Vetoquinol Equalizer Odor Eliminator, which still has some chemical odor but actually eliminates pet odor and in comparison evaporates relatively quickly without being extremely strong perfume odor.
