I ordered these as a house shoe. I was trying to find a "birk" type slipper since that is what is comfortable for me. These did not disappoint! They are comfortable and supportive. If you need cushion these are not for you, but they are great for arch support. My son loves them as well so I ordered him a pair so I can have mine back. My aunt has ordered a pair after trying mine on. I did order a size up just in case, and they fit fine.
