White flakes permanently contaminate my filtered water

Very coarse. I drank several cups of tea and noticed flakes floating on the surface of my drink. At first I thought it was the quality of the tea, but when I opened the teapot I found the source. I cleaned it thoroughly after each use and still found those disgusting white marks with every use. Useless, disgusting and a waste of time and money.
