Review on CyberPower CSP600WSURC2 Surge Protector: 6 Outlet Wall Tap with USB Charging Ports - 1200J/125V by Jeremy Sabey

Plugs directly into a wall outlet, REQUIRES two grounded connections

This will not present a problem for the vast majority of readers but pay special attention to the rear view of the product, both the plug and the small black pin halfway up. The small black prong is used to ground the second outlet - probably a feature for most users (ensuring stability), but an issue for me. I moved into an apartment with an outlet and a few USB ports next to the desk. . With only one outlet, I needed even more of a splitter, and I liked the idea of keeping USB charging possible. Unfortunately, this little plastic pin has to go into the ground for the second exit. Since I don't have a second socket, it doesn't sit properly. This can also be an issue for those who want to plug the device into the top of the two sockets. Of course, the pin could be broken, but I wouldn't buy the device if I realized it. and wanted to warn the few who might be interested.

Pros
  • Same as everything before
Cons
  • Not sure
