As long as they don't rust. DAMN! They rust like crazy. I am so disappointed. See photos.

I edited my original review after realizing that these nuts rust terribly. When I wrote my first review, I assumed these nuts wouldn't rust that badly. What a disappointment! I just checked the tire pressure and noticed that the nuts are very rusty. I installed them for about two months before realizing they were rusty. They obviously started to rust almost immediately after installation. For the record, I live in northern Illinois about thirty miles west of Chicago. The winter was very mild (when I first wrote this review, which I later revised) and there was no salt on our roads. Also, I'm retired and because of the coronovirus, the truck almost didn't drive. He's probably only driven it 100-200 miles since I installed the lug nuts. They were covered in rust. I'm really surprised by the comments that these nuts don't rust. They rust worse than any nuts I've ever had. I just uploaded some pictures of the nuts at the request of the seller. The lubricating film on it is a corrosion resistant grease-like material (wool wax) which I sprayed onto the nuts when I noticed they were rusting after the first two months of good weather (no snow, no salt on the roads etc.). ). They had to start rusting almost immediately after installation to get that much rusting so quickly. Also, after two months there was actually more rust than shown in these photos because I rubbed anti-corrosion grease on the ends of the nuts to remove surface rust. The rust remover protected the lug nuts from further rusting and actually loosened some of the rust. But that was only temporary because the rust remover just washes off and is greasy so you can't leave it on anyway. In other words, the rust would have been MUCH worse if I hadn't covered them, and the rust was worse than the photos show before I covered them. Unacceptable!
