Great for the kitchen, looks BLUE out of the box but gives off a bright cool white light
after ordering two other bulk packs which for some reason have a picture with a stand and then without a stand came, just bare bulbs, glad I tried! It's difficult to directly compare them to other halogens of a similar but "warmer" color, but they definitely look a little brighter, maybe just because they glow with a bluish light. They definitely look like they're going to be BLUE before you plug them in, but it's just a cold white color like the spectrum you turn off on your phone because it keeps you awake! I think that makes them perfect for the kitchen and maybe not your bed.
