Well made Poorly designed pad, structurally too thick and too short - strap is useless

The pad appears to be well made and has a higher quality foam insert than the blue pad, the center of which compresses flat with very little effort. I don't really understand the strap - I'm not skinny - the strap is huge and stretchy - the material is soft and silky which means the best the strap can do is prevent it from slipping off the leg - it doesn't keep it on the inside of the Getting your knees into position - you have to do this with the pressure of your legs, which renders the strap useless (essentially it could be a foot longer and do the same thing - if it were adjustable so it could hold the pad by shifting, which would be helpful could - as it is - useless). The pillow is not long - if you look at the photo it only covers a very short part of the leg. My problem is that when I put it where it is or on my knees the pressure required to fix the pillow causes my ankles or lower legs to get together which is driving me crazy. A plain pillow (which is what I used) between the legs shifts less (because it's both longer and wider and I don't use a slippery pillowcase like this) works much better (as other reviews have pointed out). it's thick and not very compressible, and you spread your legs a lot on the pillow, awkwardly bringing them together even lower (or you don't feel any pressure to keep the pillow in place). I'm a bit disappointed because this IS is well made (which is why I gave it two stars) - just not very well thought out - I'm pretty sure most of these reviews still don't use the pillow.
