I didn't ask my wife if she wanted it, I just bought it. She loves it and she's glad I just did it and didn't ask. She thought the strap would bother her but she tried it as I had just given it to her and she loved it. I also like that she wakes up less often looking for that pillow she lost for her knees. Keeps slipping. The size is normal, the fabric is very soft. UPDATE: The manufacturer has been very kind and concerned about the performance of their product and is addressing this issue. Very happy with this purchase. The cover is made of soft velor, zips up so it can be removed for washing, and the attached elastic strap keeps it in place all night without affecting circulation. The density of the inner foam is just right. Soft enough to fit my feet but not so soft that it's fully compressed into a thin cross-section. I would not consider it for neck support/pillow use as it is thicker and stronger than would be comfortable although it looks designed for that use.

The pad appears to be well made and has a higher quality foam insert than the blue pad, the center of which compresses flat with very little effort.
