Very happy with this purchase. The cover is made of soft velor, zips up so it can be removed for washing, and the attached elastic strap keeps it in place all night without affecting circulation. The density of the inner foam is just right. Soft enough to fit my feet but not so soft that it's fully compressed into a thin cross-section. I would not consider it for neck support/pillow use as it is thicker and stronger than would be comfortable although it looks designed for that use.
