I'm a bass player. I help set up the drums, wait for both guitarists to set up, and then set up. For years I struggled with drum kits and guitar amps, trying to find a good place for me to actually reach an outlet. Pick them up and the fight stopped. I've only recently got them so can't confirm their durability, but they seem to be quite thick - much thicker than a regular power cord. Also, it's great to have a 15-foot power cord. I can put myself almost anywhere on a small stage and have no problem getting to an outlet. Edit: It's been almost two years and the cables are still in great shape and holding up from the original purchase.
