Review on ๐Ÿงฝ Big Thirsty Dish Towels - Organic Cotton Kitchen Towels, Set of 4, Blue and White Stripe โ€“ Super Absorbent, Soft Weave Tea Towels - Machine Washable - 25โ€ x 19โ€ by Carmen Martinez

I'm not sure how "thirsty " and "super absorbent " they really are.

First, their claim of being certified organic does the GCL license number on the packaging actually match a valid license held by someone in India. The packaging says it's made in India so I think it all makes sense and appears to be actually certified organic textile. So first impressions out of the box. They don't look very big to me. They're about the same size as all the kitchen towels I've used and we used a lot of towels in the kitchen at the restaurant my dad ran for a number of years. They're a little heavier than many of the commercial towels I've used, but feel a little lighter than some household brands I've bought recently. They are quite soft with a smooth weave unlike some of the coarser towels I've used. They seem to be quite durable but only time will tell their durability, again they seem to be pretty average. From the packaging they also have an odor that is neither pleasant nor unpleasant, but after washing it disappears. Completely new natural textile smell. The color scheme is a very harmless color scheme that is not flashy or overdone. In terms of super absorbency, they're no more absorbent than most 100% cotton towels I've used. I've tested them both new out of the box and after washing and drying with no noticeable difference. To have the Thirsty and Super Absorbent descriptors, they better suck water out of things in one go, which they definitely don't. All in all they appear to be pretty average towels at a premium price point for a certified organic label. If I were concerned about the labeling of certified organic products, I would rate them higher, but they don't impress me in any way.
