There's not much to say about the thread adapter other than that it does a good job. However, the instructions were very poor so it took some thought to figure out how it all came together. If you try to tighten this, note that the nut goes on the larger threaded part, with the knurled washer facing the bike. Screw the nut on as far as it will go. Then place the mirror onto the smaller threaded part until it stops. Then screw the large threaded part onto the bike and adjust the nut if necessary to position the mirror where you want it.
