Review on 💜 everydrop by Whirlpool Ice & Water Filter 1, EDR1RXD1, Single-Pack - Purple by Rudy Hilmy

I bought this before but when I wanted to replace the old filter I couldn't install it and water started splashing out of the filter portal! The water wouldn't stop, so I had a small flood in my kitchen. In the end I decided to put the old filter on and eventually stopped the flow. I've contacted Every Drop, Whirlpool and Pur to see if anyone can offer any advice on which filter I should buy as it's rubbish. I don't trust to buy Every Drop again. I have read in these reviews that Pur used to supply the Every Drop filter but then started using a different brand and so the fittings are not loading properly and the length of the filter is preventing the door from closing well. I hope Pur actually has filters using their technology, although the name Every Drop is on the filters they sell on their website. My next call is to the store where I bought the refrigerator. You may have repair problems caused by this filter and you may find another one. Will be updated if someone answers my questions. **Update** All 3 companies have responded to my query. Whirlpool will send me a replacement filter so I can let you know if it works. I will also include pictures of the first filter, the current filter (with sensors) and the new hot tub filter for comparison. Every Drop and PUR advised me to contact Whirlpool. I asked them to tell me exactly where I could buy a quality filter (as in the past) that would fit me and they both referred me back to Whirlpool. I hope I can find a place to buy a good filter and share the details with you. *Update 2* Got a replacement hot tub filter and the moment I felt it I knew right away it was a lot lighter than the one I bought here. Then I noticed that the one I bought here also had a lot of stains. After weighing it, the hot tub and the one I previously bought here, I'm confident that the last one I bought here was used. It weighed more than the other two and was even dirty while the one I replaced still looked clean. I personally think Revain should shut down this seller for security reasons. They lure you in with a good filter and when you come back to buy another, god knows what's in that filter, where it's been used, possible diseases, etc. The filter that started this whole mess has to die screwed up filter line v. Now I'm having issues where there is air in the lines, water won't stop flowing etc and this fridge is 1 year old so I'm hoping Revain will keep the truth in my review.
