Review on 🚲 Kujo Tony T BMX Juvenile Wire Bead Tire by Ryan Bennett

Overall this is a great tire for a kids bike. The assembly is good, the price is reasonable. Can it be a little lighter than a Kevlar bead? Of course, installing them by hand with no levers was a breeze. Tread thickness seems like a good combination of durability without being too heavy. One thing I forgot but remembered when installing it is that you need to take the time to center the bead before airing it out. I'm not sure we'll ever get good standards and quality control on kids bikes for the bead and rim interface to be tight enough to expect air pressure to center the bead. If you move them off center and just air them out a lot (which is great for modern mountain bikes and tubeless road tires) you can cause the bead to detach from the rim and possibly tear off completely. Just approach it at about 5psi and then air it down to 35 to lock it in place.
