Bait and Switch in Water Detectors & Alarms

I've been looking for a similar solution for a long time. Walked past a display at a local hardware store and was intrigued. Spent the original €200. Easy to install, basic app that barely teaches you the basics along with major flaws in the alerting mechanism. My outside faucet froze and spilled over 16,000 gallons of water over the weekend. The Steamlabs app sent me a notification that I seem to have missed and not for the next 72 hours while thousands of gallons of water were lost. As a developer, I requested an API key and integrated Streamlabs data into my own monitoring system. Nice graphics, MULTIPLE notifications when there is a power leak. GOOD! Then Streamlabs decided it had to get rich and put all the really useful features behind a paid MONTHLY subscription. PRESS and SHIFT!Just cancelled. The hardware is serviceable but doesn't cost anywhere near the subscription they charge. I will keep looking for a better solution. Thanks very much!
