Sturdy and comfortable - perfect for my gear and lenses

I bought this in 2016 and only now, in March 2019, did I get to the test report. All in all this is a great bag. It comfortably accommodates the following gear: Large lens rear aperture1 Nikon D750 with an on-camera Nikkor 70-200mm F2.8 E. Next to it is my Sigma 150-600mm Contemporary lens. Upper compartment: Nikkor 24-70mm F2.8Nikkor 14-24 F2.8 Rear pockets for various attachments, lens and sensor cleaning, spare batteries and Nikon charger. Holder for coffee or drinks on the other side of the packaging. I really like the design of this backpack, it's more or less light and has served me well for the past 3 years and I expect it will continue to serve me well for years to come. Pros: Relatively light weight Holds all the lenses I normally use for walking. The weight is kept close to the body, which reduces strain and the feeling of loss of balance, which is very important when hiking in the mountains or on steep trails. Sturdy - no problems with broken zippers or ripped stitching - there was wear in one spot just from wearing my 14-24 lens wrong - I've fixed that. Waterproof raincoat (self-contained and in a small compartment at the very top of the bag) this is invaluable if you get caught in the tide - saved me a couple of times and covers the entire bag) Cons: Adjustable compartments don't work well On top of the bag - I kept my neoprene gloves between 24-70mm and 14-24mm so they don't bump into each other - this could be done better - the removable padded pieces don't stick together properly and don't move all over the place - it's best to add your own padding here. As said above - this bag has served me very well and I would definitely buy it again - the downsides are the small nits that are easily fixed.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Periodicity
