Haven't played with this to the fullest yet, but it's the perfect set of colors for a whiskey artists' palette (the one with the water tank). They have an interesting texture. The problem I had was that when I filled in my halves, a LOT of unprecipitated and unmixed binder came out. I tried gently squeezing and stirring the tubes before pouring, but that didn't work. You will need to use an absorbent brush to remove some of the top binder and let the molds dry for a day or two. I think if you like muted color scenes it will help to neutralize some of my main watercolors.
