Last November my 2004 Sonata 2.4L CEL started to work and gave me error code P0401 "Insufficient EGR Flow". I thought it might be an exhaust leak and wanted to fix it before trying anything else. Due to Covid I couldn't get to the muffler shop and was fitting other parts to the car when I saw how rusty the EGR valve was. So I ordered this Hyundai AGR. So I ordered a gasket to be on the safe side. Removed the old valve and it froze. The openings were also partially clogged with soot, so I cleaned them with brake cleaner. Installed a new EGR and Wallah/Viola at the next check I passed the EGR monitor! Hooray!
