I'm a cyclist with expensive tastes but on a dog catcher's budget. Over the years I've learned to avoid cheap things because they don't last long and therefore don't save money. Nowhere is this more true than in cycling consumables. My Giro racing boots are almost ten years old, but after a fresh clean and polish they look and feel almost new. The included cleats wore out after a few seasons so I replaced them with the cleats shown here. There is some controversy in this comment section as to whether these spikes are fake. I can't find any reference to it, but I do know that the Chinese can reproduce pretty much anything perfectly. It doesn't matter if it's fake or not, they offer the same performance and durability as the originals they replace. These are my third set of replacement cleats from this source and like the others they mount easily to my Giro shoes, pair perfectly with Dura Ace pedals and offer a reasonable lifespan of up to two medium seasons.
