Review on V-Tech LS-916 Retro Mobile Phone Handset (2 Pack): Modern Communication with a Vintage Twist by Frank Dubey

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Feels like a toy so not thrilled with the cheap quality but it can be used to make phone calls and therefore reduces radiation so it's ok.

Very light plastic that looks cheap but does the job. I can hear clearly, although the volume can't be turned up, so the background needs to be a little quieter to hear well. So far, callers have said that they can hear me well too. Pickup doesn't work - I need to dial and connect a call on my phone, but the disconnect function works fine and disconnects the call as soon as I press it. However, it is definitely NOT nine feet long. The maximum distance I can stretch the line, and I mean stretching it to the point where the spiral part is completely straight is almost 6 feet long, so keep that in mind when you buy. This item was a little disappointing because I wanted to plug in the phone, leave the phone on a surface away from me, and then place the handset on a chair or sofa, etc. However, it is so light that it stays indoors. foot of the phone when I don't put the phone down and just stick the cord out. The only way to remove it from the phone for use is to attach the cellphone to something holding it and then move the phone to stretch it. Not sure if that makes sense, but it doesn't move or stretch like heavier old-fashioned cords. I plan to see if I can fix this,
