I chose between UV-5R and UV-9R Plus. At the same time, it was not possible to poyuzat them with your hands. Chose UV-82 as it was cheaper than UV-5R. Ordered. Part paid with bonuses Thank you. For some reason, the WOW effect did not happen. The dual PTT button, which was one of my favorites, seems superfluous to me. Compared to UV-9R Plus: same weight. The UV-9R Plus feels a bit lighter. But it seemed to me inconvenient and impractical to mount it. Although I have not yet evaluated the UV-82 mount, it seems at least more reliable. In general, I like to take with a margin for the future (in terms of dust and moisture protection). And the price of UV-9R Plus was more than UV-82 by 600. I could not buy directly from the seller, since it was not possible to write off bonuses there thanks. In the hand, both radios lie almost the same (provided that the UV-82 is with a mount). It is not clear what metal the chassis of the radio station is made of. It feels like it's metal-like plastic. You tap on it and there is no metallic sound. The rest is like nothing. I will add a review later. Already ordered a silicone case for it. I post comparison photos.
