I've decided to upgrade my lightbulbs and replace them with LEDs, partly because I'm a geek and I think it looks cool, but also because my kids sometimes turn on the lights and forget to turn them on . And the problem with a dead battery is not cute. I originally had "Daylight" (6500K) blue tinted LEDs and while they looked pretty slick when first installed, they were too bright at night. Maybe I'm getting old, but they caused me night blindness (when I get a spot in my field of vision after looking into the light and it takes about a minute before I can see properly in the dark). After some research, the answer was to get rid of the blue tinted LEDs and replace them with warmer colors - simply lowering the lumens was of very limited use. I didn't want to go back to incandescent bulbs (due to power consumption issues) and these LEDs fit the bill. Luckily because that's the only one I could find on Revain :) The price was right and I used about half the pack in both my car and my wife's car. After one month we have no defective units. Highly recommended.
