I had a similar case for my iPod Touch which I loved! In fact, I've worn out 4 of these over the years. The problem with this cover, in my opinion, is that it is upside down. I didn't realize that the front folds down instead of up like my other one. Knowing how well it works with the front from my other case, the logic behind this design is confusing to me. With this design, you often find it difficult to align the cables with the openings in the case. When the front folds out no holes are required, the locking strap simply folds between the holes in your iPod, no holes in the case are required. Some plugs I have don't even go through the holes in this case. You might think just turn the iPod the other way around, no, the plastic holder inside has a cut-out on one side for the volume control, which only works in one direction. Now that I think about it, I think you need to reach for the power button at the top. I would be fine if it was closed, just open the case to get to the power button. I usually use the face button anyway. On the plus side, I like the style and feel of the case. Seems to be a well made case. My suggestion for a design fix would be to just make another cutout for the volume knob on the other side so the user can still use it.
