I really wanted to love this jacket. From the description it suggested that the hoodie was a completely different jacket that could be zipped into the faux leather jacket. This is not the case. What you have is a "strip" of fabric that zips a few inches from the main zipper that gives the illusion of two jackets. That strip extends up and around the neck including the hood. So if you unzip that strip of fabric, you will be unzipping the hood as well. Lol, this is confusing to even write.Ok, so taking the "hoodie" part of the jacket off still leaves you with the sleeve part at the wrists, which is not removable. It seems weird to me to be able to take the hood off and that fabric strip off by the zipper and not be able to remove the fabric cuffs. It just doesn't look quite right. Oh, and the cuffs do have a thumb hole. All that being said, having the hoodie part zipped into the jacket doesn't provide any additional warmth as it is just for looks (the hoodie itself is extremely thin fabric - a bit silly if you ask me). Don't get me wrong, I do love the look of it and rated it 3 stars because of that.but for the price and description, I was expecting more. The zippers are sharp, and can be difficult to zip open or close. With a lot of zippers you can do either action with one hand but with these cheaper zippers you have to use two hands and hold them taunt to get them to zip decently. Ohhh.and that brings me to another zipper issue. The secondary zipper that attaches that fabric piece to the faux leather jacket doesn't like to stay zipped. When I said that it starts and one end and zips up and around the neck and down the other side.well at the end of the other side there is no "indent" or anything that helps keep the zipper at the end. As you are moving around the zipper just starts to creep up the size and you have to constantly re-adjust it if you are leaving the main zipper open for the "look" of the two jackets. Otherwise if you keep the main zipper zipped up it doesn't matter if it creeps up a little as no one would see it (tho it does drive me a bit nuts).Lastly, if you are sifting through reviews, please take a look at what item number you are planning to purchase. All these reviews are lumped together and are for several different products but at the headline you should see the item number the person is providing a review for (and the reviews seem to vary greatly).
