The microphone came with a scratch, there are hesitations, I decided to leave it

I made many videos on Youtube for my students and thought about publishing them. However, the sound quality from my headset microphone, which was intended for gaming, wasn't very good. So I bought this because of the good reviews and the timely Lightning deal. The mic came with a scratch which made me wonder if it was a return and also about their quality control. Nevertheless I tried. It's plug and play, no installation or download required. The kit includes everything you need to get started, including a windscreen and pop screen, as well as a USB cable, boom and mic mount. Arrow handle is a bit weak; You have to really tighten the fasteners on the joints, especially given the weight of the mic and pop filter, or it will sag. It feels cheap and I wouldn't be surprised if the screws loosen or the lever fails within a few months. The mic holder is a cumbersome design for inserting and removing the mic, but I've seen similar designs from many manufacturers, so I guess there's nothing that can be done about that. The microphone itself feels heavy and solid. After diligently setting up this mic and taking a few test recordings, I was disappointed to find that there was annoying jitter in the recordings. (This is the sound of a Budabudabudabudabud). This was most noticeable when using Screen-O-Matic to record, but was still audible when using Audacity to record. Noise has been automatically removed in Adobe Premiere Pro 2020. Hesitation aside, this is a big improvement over my previous one. It has a nice "saturation" in picking up my voice compared to the flat, tinny effect of my previous gaming mic. Since I'm importing into Premiere anyway, I don't have a problem with that, but unless you're using software that can easily clean up this mess, I wouldn't use it for recording. Button. Also, the volume button doesn't show what it's set to, making it easy to forget. A dial, an LCD, or even a row of small lights are all mechanisms that could be used here. As others have noted, the USB connector on the mic is a bit loose. I hope this doesn't cause any problems in the long run.
