Can you look through the viewfinder and see photos that are 28, 38, 45 or more years old and available in the cache? I can and I thought that was it. I felt like I was in the best position when shooting 14-bit RAW FX images. But there's more to the image buffer than run and gun, there's actually a practical reason to use it. The most important thing in wildlife photography, CAPTURE always happens instantly, without warning. Predicting this is in the archer's hand, like a hawk suddenly taking off. I don't know what you're recording but it takes less than 1 second and if you use burst mode you often get great shots. Why this card is good here is because the SHOT usually happens at the end of even 40 .buffer frames and once you're caught, if you're experienced you can often get a second in-flight winner. IF you have buffer space or ****** your CF cards will eject so fast the camera will literally support 1-2fps burst shooting because it has space. I used a 32G 800x 120Mbps card and I ended up getting a few frames, ok very good but the difference is literally noticeable. I can use 9 fps (note that most of the settings are disabled like high ADL, high NR etc) but my buffer shows raw 14 bits with 38 minutes. Turn on the buffer and I get unlimited 1 to 2 fps. 2 fps idk which clears the map faster for that, but it usually starts at 2 right after the buffer underflows. Then continue 1 but hiccup 2 every few shots. So it's significantly faster than the 800x, which is now my second CF card. Enjoy and seek. I got my evaluation with no promotions for $40 @!
