Need help with gluing

This article looked very good! It was exactly what I was looking for and the logo was an added bonus. But the glue was and is very bad! You will need additional funds to install the protective strip on the threshold of the car. If there's a way to make the back more sticky, I'm all ears. But I didn't want to ruin the windowsill either!
