These lights are bright enough not to break my toes in the dark (or wake others by tripping loudly) and yet not that bright that the eyes shine Accustomed to the dark, it gets hard. They work great in bedrooms as they can be dimmed to your liking and the soft warm light doesn't bother me at all, plus they dim after 20 seconds so you're back in total darkness pretty quickly as soon as you lie down. Descent. I didn't want a 2 pack at first, but that seemed like the smallest amount available. Now I'm glad it worked, I use one on two walls of my bedroom, at right angles to each other, and I get the right lighting. I definitely recommend them as night lights in the bedroom or for night lighting. for hallways and closets and I plan to get at least one more pair of these once I've had a chance to try them.
