Great light! Seal may be PAIN

The light is very bright and is excellent value for money as long as it lasts for several seasons. One useless/painful element is the included foam padding between the cover and the base of the lantern. By design, the cover is removed to install the light base; Use your choice of adhesive sealant for this task. You can then play around with the foam pad, the cover, two very small screws and a screwdriver to complete the build. Regardless of the location of your light source, this part of the process sucks! (you'll see). To save time, omit the spacer and apply a bead of tacky sealant around each of the screw holes in the small lantern cover BEFORE installing the cover. I'm not too concerned about leakage around the outside edge/edge of the lid (where the gasket should be) as it's slightly recessed. If this is the case, try putting some type of petroleum jelly product on where the pad should be (around 8am to 4pm, clockwise) and you should be fine.
