This is a good lamp for a bedroom or maybe a night light for a child's room. But don't expect too much. The three white light modes (cold, warm, and neutral) give a nice soft glow and can be dimmed, but I feel like the light doesn't get as bright or dim as I'd like. The darkest setting is too bright for our child's room (night light) and the brightest setting cannot properly illuminate the whole room if you want to use it for a regular lamp. This product is best used as an accent light or as a bedside lamp or maybe a table lamp. RGB colors are great, but be careful. YOU CANNOT DIM THE LIGHT WHEN IT IS IN RGB MODE. That annoys me particularly. The product description isn't entirely clear on this, and the reviews I've seen seem to gloss over this fact. Also, in my opinion, the colors change too quickly in the color cycle mode, and the cycle speed cannot be changed. lose the selected color and the colors will return to cycling. So don't think that you can select, for example, green and then always turn on green whenever you press the RGB button. that will not do. You have to find and set the green color manually every time. - The timer function only works with white light, not with RGB. If you use RGB and press the timer button, the lamp will switch to white light. Overall this product is just ok. Familiarize yourself with the product restrictions before purchasing. I'm disappointed with the issues described above, but not so much that I'm returning the product (there's actually nothing WRONG with it, just not to my liking). I definitely wouldn't buy any more.
