Great, but a design flaw that needs fixing
In essence, the concept of these straws is dynamite. Really helpful. However, it also has ridges in the main body of the stray (I'm not talking about the part that spreads outward). And those extra fins trap a small amount of air. This is how you suck in excess air that you don't need. Kind of uncomfortable. It is difficult for the elderly to kick out.
