In general, a wonderful thing. Being able to use my Canon lenses on my new a7RIII is a miracle. However, the autofocus results do not match with this adapter and the instruction manual is difficult to find and interpret online. On my 24-105L the adapter works very well when it works. Probably not as fast as the native lens, but fast enough. However, every time I turn on the camera, the adapter doesn't work at all. Just hunt and hunt. The only way to fix this is to turn the camera off and on again, and voila, autofocus is working again. I can't figure out if this is common among a7RIII users. In advanced mode, I get eye AF. I haven't played with it much, but it seems to work fine. Overall I'm very happy to be able to use my Canon lenses but the experience is inconsistent.
