I bought these cables with my Street Guardian Pro camera. They work as described so rather than a review I'll talk about what I did. I did a lot of research beforehand because although I had some electrical knowledge and experience, my knowledge of automotive fuses was limited. Here is a summary of what you should do before buying this device.1. Determine what fuse size is installed in your car. I accidentally bought Micros instead of Minis so check the size of the locking pins. However, the mini fuse kit came with the micros so this might be a good way to prevent the bug, but YMMV.2. Determine the fuses you want to connect. You need to touch two fuses, one that lights when the car is parked and off (AAC) and the other when the car is on (BATT). One way to check this is to use a multimeter or voltage tester and see if there is current flowing through the fuse at each setting. Or if like me you're lucky and find a forum or blog post from someone who did the hard work for you and found the two fuses you need for your car model/generation. 3. Find a grounding point. On mine I found a protruding screw point under the fuse box chassis. So I bought a nut and washer and clamped the ground point tightly between them.4. Decide where to route the cables from the dash fuse box to the dash cam. After completing these four steps, the installation should be easy. Hope this helped!
