Updated: apparently the search continues, for some reason the right earpiece is now playing about half as loud as the left. I suspect that one of the drivers has stopped working or something. Luckily I have 2 days before the return window closes so I can get my money back but this makes me wary of buying Fiio headphones in the future, I've seen other people have issues with their QA at other IEMs. Original: I just bought a pair of Thieaudio Legacy 3 about 2 weeks before I found out about them and luckily I haven't had them too long and I've been able to return and buy them and I feel they are better. They sound comparable to me in terms of sound quality, except they have the bass I was missing from the L3 and the vents that make them more comfortable. This set also comes with much better accessories, a better cable, and Hi-Res certification for just $10 more. I would definitely recommend these over anything else in the price range, but my familiarity with similar headphones is limited and I'm not the type to spend big on headphones, so I don't see the need to ever upgrade. Replace them only if damaged or lost.
