Review on π Black Yamaha NS-555 3-Way Tower Speaker with Bass Reflex (Each) by Siu α
I'm completely satisfied with the product, it works.
Used speakers for about six months, for music. I realized that this is an option for cinema / music in a ratio of 70/30%, I sold it, and bought non-budget shelf speakers that outplayed the 555th Yamaha in all respects. For those who take them for music and into a room less than 20 meters, I strongly do not recommend them. This model is either for cinema or electronic dance genres.
- - The sound is neutral, the frequencies are not overwhelmed -Sufficiently good bass, do not pass at high volume - Lack of body resonances and overtones, good build quality - Beautiful design
- First, it is a heavy, pressing bass. In some genres, this will be critical, since far from everything can be listened to for a long time, the pressure is tiring. Secondly, intelligibility is lost in complex music, with a large number of instruments, there is not enough detail. Thirdly, the design itself - FI on the back and a varnish that collects dust and fingerprints.
