Review on 🎙️ Uniden BC645M: Premium 4 Pin Dynamic CB Mic with Metal Hanger – Compatible with PC78 and PC88 Series by Mario Beckwith

I love the wireless aspect of this product and that's probably the only reason I'm able to spend $90 on a new mic. I wrote this review to answer some of the questions I had before purchasing for anyone who might have the same questions. 1) This microphone "handles" all audio output for your CB radio. As far as I can tell, there's no way your CB's sounds aren't coming out of this mic. I thought maybe my external speaker would take over, but when the external speaker is connected to the cordless handset, there is a horrible sound coming out of the handset's microphone and external speaker. I had to unplug my external speaker to stop it. So if you buy this, make sure it's what you want! 2) The docking station will NOT charge the handset. You need to connect it separately with the included charger. The charger can also be used to turn off the phone automatically when the car is turned off (otherwise the device will wait 2 minutes and then turn off automatically. Also, this is not the same USB charger as a regular mobile phone, it's a bit bigger) . and it's actually a mini-USB connector (unlike your cellphone, which is a micro-USB connector). 3) The mic works great as a PA setup mic on your CB radio and I've had no problem using my wireless mic with my hands-free built-in CB radio. 4) The volume is fully controlled by the handset after plugging. Your volume slider doesn't change anything other than the speakerphone volume. All volume is controlled by buttons on the phone. All in all this is a great product. I just want to use an external speaker instead of a wireless speaker, or even both at the same time.
